POSitive Retail Manager now includes a free, basic Quickbooks interface. This interface will allow you to export the General Journal entries to Quickbooks. A future module is planned with advanced features, such as the ability to export customers, invoices, and accounts receivable.

Configuring POSitive to interface with Quickbooks

Run Quickbooks

Run POSitive and turn on the Quickbooks interface. This is found under Accounting, General Ledger Setup.

CExport GL Accounts to QB OR import the QB accounts to POSitive using the mapper in PRMQB (the mapper is under development at this time, so the only option at this point is to export GL Accounts to QB).

This application runs in the background, monitoring POSitive for changes and posting those changes into Quickbooks . The first time you run PRMQB, Quickbooks will ask for authorization to allow access by PRM.
