In Touch is the newest offering from SYNCHRONICS and is a 32-bit, GUI product built upon Microsoft SQL Server to give complete data access and control. In Touch provides all the features of a full-service retail system, including point-of-sale ticket entry, integrated credit card processing, customer tracking, inventory control, purchasing, system security, reporting, and more.

To ensure fast and accurate transaction processing, In Touch capabilities include keyboard, touchscreen, and barcode scanning. And In Touch is data driven, so you can set the parameters that control the appearance and behavior of every screen and report. It is also OPOS-compliant to ensure compatibility with both new and existing point-of-sale peripheral hardware devices.

In Touch is at the cutting edge of technology and allows easy integration with the suite of Microsoft productivity tools and Seagate Crystal Reports. With In Touch, you'll stay up-to-date automatically, and you'll have the tools you need to manage your business efficiently, effectively, and profitably!

The In Touch Base System with Options provides the basic building blocks for managing your business - a ready-to-use business software solution, whether you have a single store, or many users at multiple stores.

In Touch consists of a Base System and Options. Listed below are the capabilities available in the Base System and Options.

In Touch Base System

The Base System includes a set of applications used by most businesses.

Point of Sale Sales, returns, holds, quotes, and orders for retail point-of-sale
Inventory Inventory, non-inventory, discount, and service items; three-dimensional gridded items; transaction processing for quick transfers, adjustments, and physical count; three-level pricing; contract, promotion, and special pricing; label printing with barcodes on demand; and average cost by location method
Customers Cash/miscellaneous customers
Purchasing Vendors, vendor/items, purchase advice reporting, quick receivings, purchase requests, purchase orders, and receivings
Sales History Transaction history, management history, and Sales analysis reports
System Multi-company, multi-user, messaging, SQL, custom dictionaries, G/L export interface

Receivables Open item A/R charge customers, cash receipts, statements, and aging
Credit Cards for SMP Program Credit card processing with the Synchronics Merchant Program
Credit Cards Credit card processing with non-SMP processors
Multi-Site Multi-store operations on separate servers with periodic synchronization
Hub Primary server for Multi-Site operations
Serial Numbers Complete serialized inventory tracking throughout the system, including historical transaction detail for each serial number
